Apr\u00e8s tout, la course  pied n'est pas un sport de contact comme le rugby ou le handball (mes sports familiaux), ce n'est pas non plus dangereux comme le ski (mon sport r\u00e9gional). \u00c0 part glisser sur une plaque de verglas, qu'est-ce qui pourrait bien m'arriver ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Bref, j'\u00e9tais bien na\u00efve, et ma premi\u00e8re blessure m'a rapidement fait comprendre que j'avais compl\u00e8tement tort sur le sujet. Les blessures sont en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 partie int\u00e9grante de notre vie de coureur, puisqu'en moyenne, environ 30 % des coureurs se blessent chaque ann\u00e9e.<sup data-fn=\"322bad7e-4618-4b91-8019-2bbc04eefaab\" class=\"fn\"><a href=\"#322bad7e-4618-4b91-8019-2bbc04eefaab\" id=\"322bad7e-4618-4b91-8019-2bbc04eefaab-link\">1<\/a><\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Faire face \u00e0 une blessure est d\u00e9j\u00e0 suffisamment difficile pour la plupart des coureurs (quoi de pire que de ne plus pouvoir courir ?). Mais g\u00e9rer une blessure loin de chez soi et du soutien de ses proches, dans un environnement m\u00e9dical qu'on ne connait pas (et auquel on ne fait pas forc\u00e9ment confiance), c'est une autre histoire. Comment g\u00e9rer une blessure \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger ? Elles sont mortes apr\u00e8s 500km celles-l\u00e0\")<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">2021, <a href=\"https:\/\/run-and-roll.com\/fr\/where-to-run-in-kampala\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kampala<\/a>: luxation de la rotule, 2 mois (\"non mais les trottoirs, c'est surcot\u00e9\")<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">2022, Kampala\/<a href=\"https:\/\/run-and-roll.com\/fr\/where-to-run-in-casablanca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Casablanca<\/a>: deuxi\u00e8me luxation de la rotule, 9 mois (\"peut-\u00eatre que je devrais me reconvertir en kin\u00e9 \ud83e\udd14\u201d)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/run-and-roll.com\/fr\/where-to-run-in-dakar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dakar<\/a>tendinite (mais pas la m\u00eame), il faut dire que \u00e7a faisait longtemps \ud83d\ude12<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comment g\u00e9rer une blessure \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger ?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A faire :<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Sortez couverts<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Quand j'\u00e9tais en France, je ne me pr\u00e9occupais pas franchement des questions d'assurance maladie et autres compl\u00e9mentaires, je donnais simplement ma carte vitale et c'\u00e9tait tout. Ce n'est que lorsque j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 travailler \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger et \u00e0 me faire soigner que j'ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point il \u00e9tait important d'avoir une bonne assurance et d\u00e9couvert toutes les joyeuset\u00e9s administratives qui vont avec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Plusieurs sc\u00e9narios :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Si vous avez un contrat de travail d'expatri\u00e9, votre employeur vous fournira tr\u00e8s probablement une assurance priv\u00e9e qui remboursera vos frais m\u00e9dicaux (consultations, hospitalisation dans une certaine mesure, pharmacie...). Elle est souvent associ\u00e9e \u00e0 tout un package qui inclut le rapatriement. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Si vous travaillez avec un contrat local, soit votre employeur souscrira une assurance nationale, soit vous devrez souscrire \u00e0 votre propre assurance. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Si vous voyagez ou \u00e9tudiez \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger, la plupart des assurances priv\u00e9es proposent des formules qui \u00e9tendent leur couverture \u00e0 d'autres pays pendant une certaine p\u00e9riode. Sinon, vous pouvez toujours souscrire une nouvelle assurance, certaines d'entre elles \u00e9tant sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans les s\u00e9jours \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Enfin, en Europe, la carte europ\u00e9enne d'assurance maladie permet aux citoyens de l'UE qui voyagent au sein de l'UE d'avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des soins m\u00e9dicaux. Elle est disponible pour toute personne affili\u00e9e au syst\u00e8me de s\u00e9cu fran\u00e7ais.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>2. Se faire soigner (correctement)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Une fois que vous \u00eates assur\u00e9s que vos frais m\u00e9dicaux seront (au moins en partie) pris en charge, reste \u00e0 trouver de bons professionnels. J'ai eu la chance de vivre dans de grandes villes, mais selon l'endroit o\u00f9 vous vous trouvez, cela peut \u00eatre difficile (voire impossible). Dans certains pays, il vaut mieux \u00e9viter les h\u00f4pitaux publics (ou les centres de sant\u00e9, cases de sant\u00e9, etc) si vous ne voulez pas aggraver votre cas. Les cliniques priv\u00e9es disposent (malheureusement) de beaucoup plus de moyens et sont souvent un choix plus s\u00fbr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Quelques conseils ici :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">V\u00e9rifiez si votre assurance couvre les frais si vous devez \u00eatre transf\u00e9r\u00e9 vers la grande ville la plus proche. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Dans le pire des cas (en particulier si vous devez subir une intervention chirurgicale), les formules d'assurance comprennent souvent le rapatriement (ou le transfer vers un h\u00f4pital r\u00e9gional digne de ce nom).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Pour trouver des r\u00e9f\u00e9rences de m\u00e9decins et sp\u00e9cialistes :\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Demandez des recommandations \u00e0 d'autres professionnels de sant\u00e9 (par exemple, demandez au m\u00e9decin que vous avez consult\u00e9 \u00e0 la clinique o\u00f9 trouver un bon kin\u00e9).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Dans certains pays, il existe des plateformes type Doctolib qui facilitent la recherche et la prise de rendez-vous avec des professionnels de sant\u00e9 : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dabadoc.com\/ma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dabadoc<\/a> au Maroc, en Alg\u00e9rie et en Tunisie, <a href=\"https:\/\/afridoctor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Afridoctor<\/a> dans un bon nombre de pays d'Afrique subsaharienne (S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, B\u00e9nin, Nigeria, Kenya\u2026 wait l'Ouganda?!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Demandez des recommandations autour de vous (amis, coll\u00e8gues, dans des groupes Facebook\/d'expatri\u00e9s...)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>3. Restez en contact \u00e9troit avec vos proches<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Le mental joue un r\u00f4le important dans la fa\u00e7on dont on vit une blessure et dans le processus de gu\u00e9rison. \u00catre \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger peut rendre les choses encore plus d\u00e9primantes si vous vous sentez isol\u00e9. Vous aurez besoin d'\u00eatre bien entour\u00e9, que ce soit sur place ou \u00e0 distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>4. \u00c9vitez les r\u00e9seaux sociaux et tous les contenus li\u00e9s  la course \u00e0 pied<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ce conseil s'applique que vous soyez \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger ou non. Lorsque j'ai souffert de blessures prolong\u00e9es, voir les photos d'influenceurs ou de personnes que je suivais sur les r\u00e9seaux me d\u00e9primait encore plus. J'ai donc fini par me d\u00e9sabonner ou d\u00e9sactiver les notifications sur tous les r\u00e9seaux sociaux afin de ne plus voir aucun contenu li\u00e9 au sport ou \u00e0 la course \u00e0 pied. \u00c7a fait du bien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>5. Trouvez d'autres occupations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Quand j'ai des plans qui s'organisent, il m'arrive <s>souvent<\/s> parfois de me dire \u00ab Ah, non, je ne peux pas, je dois aller courir \u00bb ou \u00ab Hum, mais je vais aller courir o\u00f9 dimanche si je ne suis pas l\u00e0 ? \u00bb. Quand on est bless\u00e9, on ne se pose pas ce genre de question. C'est l\u00e0 le principal \u00ab avantage \u00bb de ne pas pouvoir courir. On se retrouve du jour au lendemain avec beaucoup de temps libre. Autant en profiter pour trouver d'autres occupations (jouer de la musique, peindre, cuisiner, se sociabiliser). On peut aussi se mettre une caisse le samedi soir, sans cons\u00e9quence puisque cette sortie longue du dimanche n'aura pas lieu (non, l'alcool c'est mauvais pour la gu\u00e9rison \ud83d\ude44).,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Si vous \u00eates \u00e0 l'\u00e9tranger (et n'avez pas de b\u00e9quilles), profitez de ce temps libre pour visiter et voyager. Lorsque je vivais \u00e0 Vienne, je voyageais presque un weekend sur deux quelque part en Autriche, \u00e0 Bratislava ou \u00e0 Budapest. On s'occupe comme on peut.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A ne pas faire :<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Les conseils de cette partie s'appliquent dans \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s toutes les circonstances. Je vais essayer de rester concise et d'aller droit au but.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Appeler votre ex pour l'insulter. <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Apr\u00e8s tout, c'est de sa faute, c'est \u00e0 cause de lui que vous avez commenc\u00e9 la course \u00e0 pied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>    2. Butter tous les coureurs que vous croisez (c'est de la provoque aussi...) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Renseignez-vous au moins au pr\u00e9alable sur la l\u00e9gislation locale et les risques juridiques encourus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>    3. Cesser toute activit\u00e9 physique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Ne courez pas si vous ressentez une douleur sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 3-4\/10. MAIS cela ne signifie pas que vous devez rester inactif. Si vous le pouvez, remplacez la course \u00e0 pied par des sports \u00ab doux \u00bb comme la marche ou port\u00e9s comme le v\u00e9lo ou la natation. Bouger est en fait l'un des meilleurs rem\u00e8des (je peux en t\u00e9moigner pour la tendinite). Vous conserverez votre masse musculaire, votre endurance et votre cardio, et la reprise de la course \u00e0 pied sera beaucoup plus facile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>    4. Reprendre la course  pied comme avant<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Commencez doucement par une sortie test de 15 minutes, pendant laquelle vous pouvez alterner course et marche (ne commencez pas comme moi par un test de 40 minutes lol). Pendant votre processus de reprise, essayez de respecter la r\u00e8gle des 10 % afin de ne pas augmenter trop rapidement votre kilom\u00e9trage hebdomadaire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"1479\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/run-and-roll.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/mklj.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1479\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Moi en pleine analyse pour savoir si je dois remplacer ma vieille paire<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Le plus important est d'essayer d'identifier ce qui n'a pas fonctionn\u00e9 et ce qui a caus\u00e9 la blessure. Des chaussures us\u00e9es ou inadapt\u00e9es ? Un surentra\u00eenement ? Une r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration insuffisante ? Des muscles trop faibles ? Repensez votre programme d'entra\u00eenement afin de corriger cette cause et d'\u00e9viter les rechutes ou les futures blessures. Depuis ma premi\u00e8re blessure et au fil du temps, j'ai constamment modifi\u00e9 mon programme d'entra\u00eenement et mes exercices. J'ai gard\u00e9 la natation comme entra\u00eenement crois\u00e9, j'ai r\u00e9organis\u00e9 mon programme pour ajouter un jour de repos suppl\u00e9mentaire, je me suis concentr\u00e9e sur quelques exercices efficaces de renforcement musculaire, j'ai ajout\u00e9 des exercices de mobilit\u00e9...<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>Et vous, quels seraient vos conseils pour g\u00e9rer au mieux une blessure ?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-footnotes\"><li id=\"322bad7e-4618-4b91-8019-2bbc04eefaab\">(Van Gent et al.
