Un court article pour partager quelques itin\u00e9raires de course \u00e0 pied que j'ai pu tester quand j'habitais au Maroc, que ce soit lors de voyages ou de d\u00e9placements professionnels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je n'ai pas pu essayer et comparer diff\u00e9rents itin\u00e9raires car je n'ai couru qu'une seule fois dans chaque ville (\u00e0 part \u00e0 Tanger, mais je suis rest\u00e9e sur la corniche). A chaque fois, je recherchais des itin\u00e9raires<\/a> autour de moi sur des applis<\/a> comme Komoot<\/a> ou OpenRunner<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courir \u00e0 Rabat<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Rabat est assez bizarrement organis\u00e9e en diff\u00e9rents quartiers. La ville est en quelque sorte coup\u00e9e en deux : Rabat ville correspond \u00e0 la partie ancienne, c'est l\u00e0 que se trouvent les principaux int\u00e9r\u00eats touristiques : l'ancienne m\u00e9dina, la kasbah, le Mausol\u00e9e et la tour Hassan II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rabat Agdal, avec ses longues avenues bien droites pleines de boutiques est un quartier plus moderne o\u00f9 sont situ\u00e9s la plupart des bureaux et des entreprises. Je suis rest\u00e9e une nuit \u00e0 l'Agdal pour le travail, et en ai profit\u00e9 pour aller courir (enfin) dans l'un des plus grands parcs de Rabat. La \"for\u00eat urbaine\" a tous les avantages d'un grand parc selon moi : assez grand pour une sortie relativement longue, avec plein de petits chemins en terre mais aussi de longues all\u00e9es toutes droites pour faire du fractionn\u00e9, et beaucoup d'ombre. Le seul inconv\u00e9nient : c'est loin de Rabat ville si vous \u00eates venus pour une visite touristique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courir \u00e0 Marrakesh<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Je suis all\u00e9e au moins 4 ou 5 fois \u00e0 Marrakesh, tant pour le tourisme que pour le travail, et y ai couru deux fois, une petite sortie de routine du matin et une autre fois pour le semi marathon au mois de janvier. Il commence \u00e0 faire (tr\u00e8s) chaud \u00e0 partir du mois d'avril, il faut donc sortir courir (tr\u00e8s) t\u00f4t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il est pratiquement impossible de courir dans la vieille ville, autour de la m\u00e9dina et de la kasbah, mais la nouvelle ville avec ses longues rues est plut\u00f4t pas mal (il y a de grands trottoirs). Le parc de la M\u00e9nara est \u00e9galement bien pour une sortie touristique, mais il n'y a pratiquement pas d'ombre et il y fait rapidement tr\u00e8s chaud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La corniche de Tanger<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tanger c'est un peu une petite Casa, moderne, avec une vie culturelle et nocturne dynamique, et un beau front de mer. Comme \u00e0 Casa, la corniche est longue, large et bien am\u00e9nag\u00e9e, avec beaucoup d'espace pour rester loin de la route. Comme \u00e0 Casa aussi, on aurait aim\u00e9 plus d'arbres et plus d'ombre... Le parc de la Villa Harris, dans la ville nouvelle, est plut\u00f4t un bon spot si vous cherchez justement un peu de fraicheur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Courir \u00e0 Essaouira (ma deuxi\u00e8me petite pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

La plage d'Essaouira<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Une de mes villes pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es au Maroc (si ce n'est ma ville pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e ultime). La longue all\u00e9e qui suit la plage interminable d'Essaouira est parfaite pour courir, m\u00eame si, encore une fois, elle manque d'ombre. A mar\u00e9e basse, on peut m\u00eame courir directement sur la plage entre Essaouira et Diabate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malheureusement j'ai oubli\u00e9 d'enregistrer cette sortie, mais voil\u00e0 ci-dessous \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s ce que j'ai fait, en allant de Essaouira \u00e0 Diabate par la route et en revenant par la plage (la rivi\u00e8re sur la carte n'existe plus) pour un total d'environ 8km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sortie dans un trou paum\u00e9 (gorges du Dad\u00e8s)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Une court sortie le matin au cours d'un road trip dans le Sud marocain, avec une vue spectaculaire sur les falaises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bonus : nager en eau libre au Maroc<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Quand j'ai d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Casablanca, je pensais que j'allais pouvoir aller nager en eau libre tout le temps. Puis quand j'ai vu les vagues de l'Atlantique et test\u00e9 la temp\u00e9rature de l'eau, je me suis finalement inscrite \u00e0 la piscine municipale<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais comme je pr\u00e9parais ma premi\u00e8re course de nage en eau libre en ao\u00fbt 2023 (et que la piscine \u00e9tait ferm\u00e9e pendant un mois), je me suis dit qu'il fallait quand m\u00eame bien que je m'entraine en eau libre \u00e0 un moment donn\u00e9. J'ai donc nag\u00e9 une fois \u00e0 Tanger (c'est la M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, il y a un peu moins de vagues) et une fois \u00e0 Bouznika, entre Casablanca et Rabat. Malheureusement je n'ai pas enregistr\u00e9 ces s\u00e9ances.\n Je pourrais aussi recommander Essouira pour nager en eau libre, car la plage est prot\u00e9g\u00e9e des vagues (mais l'eau est glaciale !), et Rabat \u00e0 l'embouchure du Bouregreg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
